Whistler's granddaughter

Whistler depicts his mom in his very famous painting. I had a flash when seeing her sitting down and wearing that dress. Not anything like the great masterpiece... just a homage.

You are pointing 2: Arrangement in Grey and Black: The Artist's Mother, famous under its colloquial name Whistler's Mother, is an 1871 oil-on-canvas painting by American-born painter James McNeill Whistler (now owned by the Musée d'Orsay in Paris). the connection I see is love transposed with talent. in a paiting by him, in a photo by you.
